Virginia Hang Gliding - 2000 Foot Experience of a Lifetime
 
You are with a glider pilot and towed along a grass runway behind an ultralight.  When you get to the 2000 ft elevation, the tow rope is released and you and the glider pilot soar gracefully when you can see the bay and the ocean.  It is absolutely incredible. 

​In 2014 Virginia Hang Gliding moved to a 25 acre property off US-13 in Painter, VA.  This is their own facility which includes a private airfield and hangar to house our planes and gliders. We are passionate people who want to share an amazing experience with you, your family and your friends. We offer experiences ranging from heights of 2,000 ft to 5,300 ft (approx. one mile), each one with a spectacular view of the Eastern Shore, Chesapeake Bay, Atlantic Ocean, and the Barrier Islands.
